We knew with the baby coming there would be a limited amount of time at the pool...and if it were up to Savannah she would live in the water. So we decided to put Savannah in swim lessons this year. They were only a week long, but it was a guaranteed way to get Polly to the pool. The actual swim lessons were okay. They were more directed to getting kids comfortable with the water. Savannah had no problem at all with this. One of her favorite things she likes doing in the water is laying down in the shallow end and putting her head completely under. This is somewhat of a scary experience for the on looking mom. 
After a week of doing this we realized we just had to be close by to help her sit up. She always came up out of the water with a big grin. She is our little fish. The hard part is trying to get her to leave the pool at the end of the day. 
Again, again daddy...is all Savannah can say.
Monday we decided to go the pool with our friends followed by a breakfast dinner at our house. It was a sort of goodbye to the Stratton's before they leave. We had a lot of fun at the pool and it was nice for the dad's to come and join us. (At least for the girls who couldn't leave them alone.)
