9 months....Not Ready...

Polly started her day out with a nice morning swim at the gym.  Eric went to work...and was actually able to do something (he hasn't had much to do work related since he came home)  We went to the doctor for Polly's weekly check-up.  As Brittlynn's due date is quickly approaching along with a family move to Colorado, Polly's doctor was extremely anxious.  We decided before going to the appointment that we would schedule the induction on June 21st (due date) to be safe.  The doctor lets us know she is more than ready to induce this week and she won't be available the first of next week...so it looks like Friday will be the day.  After her examination and a quick stripping of some membranes she lets Polly know that she won't make it until Friday.  Translation, baby Lescarbeau will be here by the end of the week.
At 3:00pm Polly writes on Eric's face book..."can't believe we will have a baby by the end of the week...i am not ready."  She finally decides she should pack her bag for the hospital and make sure we have someone ready to come watch Savannah in the middle of the night.  Our close friend Kathy is ready to go, but she has a last minute trip to Georgetown (3 hours away).  She leaves letting Polly know that she can't have the baby before 10:00pm. That is when she should be back in town.  We were able to make it to Eric's softball game for the evening.  Polly and Savannah spent most of the time at the grocery store.  Trying to get some needed items just in case the baby came before we were able to make it again.  Polly decided she need to have a picture taken because she doesn't have any pictures at 9 months with Savannah.

Just like any other normal day we go to sleep without any expectations for the evenings or signs that anything is going to happen....
(To be continued)
