Well after many months of anticipation, the newest addition to the Lescarbeau Family has finally arrived. Brittlynn Tia Lescarbeau born June 16, 2010 at 4:28 am. weighing 6lbs 13 oz and 19.75 inches long. She was way excited to get here. Mom woke up around 2:50 a.m. and started watching the clock...thinking to herself she might be having contractions. She wanted to make sure before she woke up dad. They were about 5 minutes apart, dad woke up to for some random reason and she mentioned to him...I think I might be having contractions...he was ready looking for a stop watch to keep time. After 20 minutes of watching them get faster, dad calls our close friend Kathy Larsen to come to the house to watch Savannah. She gets here and it's off to the hospital we go. We arrive sometime around 4:00 am...they check out mom and she is already dilated to 8...so the nurses debate if they should call her doctor or not. Finally she is called and just in time to break Polly's water and when the doctor checked she was at a 10. The doctor says "You are ready if you want to push on your next contraction." Polly was ready to be done with the pain so she pushes and out comes Brittlynn. (The Lescarbeau Family doesn't have time to mess around...we like to go in and get things done)
Everything went well and mom and baby are at home with the more than anxious big sister. We are so happy to finally have Brittlynn in our home. We just hope that Savannah can get used to having her sister around. She can't get enough of her and all of the helping out is going to take some getting used to for mom and dad..

Such a beauty! Good thing her name is spelled out here - I thought mom said "Brittlynn Tea" as in the Boston Tea Party or some other patriotic play on names. :) Chrissee used to insist on buckling "my baby" in the carseat and such. <3
Wow, what a long and arduous labor;) I sooooo wish I was there to hold her!
Lucky! I wish Rachel had come that quick! She is beautiful! She missed Rachel's birthday by 4 1/2 hours!
Congratulations! She is Beautiful!
Congratulations! What a sweetie! Wishing you lots of rest and a quick recovery.
