While the boys are away, the girls will play. What a great way to spend the day with the girls. We went to a strawberry patch to pick strawberries. It was so much fun, but we ended up with strawberries forever. Then we decided to go and eat lunch by the lake. We thought we might swim, but it was a little cold outside and windy so we decided to just eat lunch on the rocks and enjoy the view and sounds of the water. At least that was the plan. I should have known that if there is water my daughter is going to want to get wet. It doesn't matter how cold it is outside. What makes it even more fun is when you have a cousin just like you that wants to join in on the adventure. The next stop was the nature center, where they take in injured animals until they can set them free. The girls had a lot of fun exploring around and seeing the different things that they can learn. Of course any chance for a photo we will take it...to the moon and back again if we have to. Before we went home we had to stop of at Beau's office and check on his chinchilla the girls fell instantly in love. I would have to say it was cute, but a little stinky to have around all of the time. I would say the girls day out was a success and we all went home a little tired.
