Friends that will always be our family

The Stratton's were our family when we didn't have a family in Texas.  We celebrated every holiday together....and lots of fun adventures in between.  So the day we arrived in Idaho we got a call from them letting us know they would love for us to come and visit, and if we want to stay at their house we are welcome.  After finding out about how long we were going to be without a house we decided to spend the weekend in Boise.  It was like we had never moved apart and we felt right at home.

We spent Saturday celebrating the 24 of July at their stake center.  We painted, tried stick pulling, water balloon toss, tug of war, handcart pulling and we finished off with snow cones.  It was a great morning  the girls had so much fun.  It was so grate to be with friends and out of our little TLF.

We went back to the house and to spend the rest of day relaxing...or baking, getting hair cuts, playing at the park and relaxing...or staying up way to late we are beyond exhausted.  It didn't take that long for the girls to feel like our friends were family.

We stayed at their house until Sunday morning and the plan was to go to church with them and eat dinner.  The problem came when Brittlynn became so exhausted she screamed herself to sleep.  So we cut the trip a little short.  It was a good weekend it will be good to be able to see them again.
