Living away from family means you miss a lot of the little things. Its hard when you are not able to share in all of the celebrations. Last year when my sister and her family came to visit I threw them a little birthday party. This year when we went to Las Vegas we decided to make it a yearly tradition. (Its easier for me to give gifts when I am going to see someone then send it in the mail.) The location was going to be build a bear....and the kids were so excited to be able to make a special bear. Lisa made the cupcakes and then we went to In & Out to eat lunch. It was a fun morning and I think everyone was excited to have their very own bear.
