Savannah was able to enjoy her first Easter Egg hunt. Even though many were throwing elbows, she managed to have fun finding her eggs and taking them in and out of the basket. The first egg she pick up had a prize in it.
She was able to pick from a table and found an M&M dispenser. She fell asleep with it in her lap on the way home. (Mom tried to take it away, but she got the evil eye.) Mom decided she could use the M&M dispenser when she learns to use the potty as a reward. M&M the treat for everyone.
Back at the house, the evening almost over, we managed to squeeze in a few eggs to color. Brother and sister decided to help out, and Savannah couldn't figure what all the fuss was about. Dad took the pictures so mom could help out. (Okay, I just watched Horton Hears a Who and I feel like all words need to rhythm.)
Savannah wanted to eat the eggs and tried to dump out the dye, but she enjoyed spending time with brother and sister. Alex and Emily learned a new thing or two about old school egg dying. Needless to say we didn't by the stuff from the store. We had fun together. Its a great way to end your day.
