Weber State

It was Emily's turn to start school.  She was beyond excited and ready to say good bye.  Eric went with Emily to her orientation, then we went to the Pie for lunch.  The next stop was the Ogden temple open house.  Savannah and Brittlynn have been waiting to be able to go inside the temple for the longest time.  It was a beautiful day for the open house...It was a great day to be at the temple with my family.

After the open house we went to Emily's dorm to help her unpack and drop her off.  She was so ready to meet her roommates and say good by.  The weather wasn't being very nice and it started to rain on us.  So we decided to just go out to eat and say good bye to emily.  First we had to take the silly picture of us wearing our Weber State gear.  We still can't believe she is going to College.  Brittlynn was so exhausted she fell asleep and barely woke up for dinner.

The next morning we got up and went back to Weber State to let the girls explore campus just a little and feed the ducks.  The girls were so excited to feed the ducks...and the ducks were so excited to be fed.  I was supposed to meet with my family...but things never work out as planned.

After we walked around the campus, my sister met me with her younger kids and they all fed the ducks again.  I love my girls when it comes to family...all you have to say to them is this is your cousin and they are instantly best friends.  The girls had so much fun exploring and then we went to lunch with her family.  John had to work and Quinn had car trouble so we didn't get to see them. 

 Then we had to leave...it has never been this difficult for me to go home.  This time there was something different.  It was hard for Eric to drive back to Idaho.  Maybe it was where we are in our lives right now.  It was 10 years ago...in the same area that we started our life together.  Utah, brought back so many of those memories.  It is crazy to think what has happened in 10 years.  The best part is we stopped in the middle of nowhere to use the bathroom...and this was on the window at the store.  It described how we felt about our new home.
