The purpose of our vacation/road trip was to be able to pay our respect as a family to someone we love. I am so grateful we took a last minute trip in November to see Grandma Maude one last time. I am also grateful we decided as a family to go to the ceremony. We were able to see so many family members that we never see any other time. When you live the military life seeing family is hard....its even harder when your family isn't all in one place. We spent most of the day at Aunt Sherri's house...We laughed, talked, played, and relaxed. Then we went back to the hotel to swim a little and then out for some ice-cream before the night was over.
