Christmas

Having Christmas away from home has been normal for our family.  Usually we are visiting our extended family somewhere.  This year we were at a hotel.  It was a little tricky for Santa Claus, but we were able to share the traditions we love .  Christmas eve was celebrated with new pajamas for everyone and a new movie for us to watch together.  We all laughed and enjoyed time together.

The next morning the girls were more than excited to see what awaited them.  Alex was surprised that he was part of it all...but he was grateful and for a change that was very nice.  Santa surprised each one with something that they want more than anything.  Emily and Alex were quickly taken over by their new phones and the girls could wait to get batteries their pillow pets.  It was different then normal, but is was nice to be together as a family.  Being in a hotel meant that you couldn't just run off to your bedroom and hide...so we were all together.
