Angel...

Angel...

Angel is our pet dog. She has been part of the family for about 5 years. (That's longer than Polly and Eric have been married) We got her from a shelter in Utah. Polly helped pick her out even though Polly swears she doesn't like dogs. Polly was trying to get Savannah to take a nap. She usually does really well, but today was kinda a crazy day for her and she needed a nap before Polly had to pick up the kids from school. So Polly thought she would let Savannah cry herself to sleep. At some point she started screaming very loudly, and Angel came running up the stairs to make sure she was okay. (Angel isn't aloud upstairs so this is not a normal thing.) She was just checking on her baby. Savannah loves her dog...and it is one of the words that she enjoys saying more than anything...doggie. We are grateful Angel is part of the family and will always be there to protect Savannah and the rest of us.
