The Lescarbeau Family: Last Week of summer...

What do you do with the last week of summer. Relax and enjoy time together...that would be wonderful for most families, but not the Lescarbeau Family.

To start the week off we headed to the pool for some fun in the sun were we decided to join the rest of our San Angelo friends. We had a blast stayed too long and got too sun burnt. Emily was happy to spend one last day with Breje before she went home. That night dad had softball and I went to Emily's soccer meeting. To our surprise Eric's team won the softball game (He always wins when I am not there.)

Tuesday, we tried to get new cell phones (it was time to upgrade...yeah), but with much disappointment we couldn't. We had to wait for Polly to be able to up grade her phone, one more day. That night we had soccer practice for Alex, Emily helping at back-to-school night, and softball for Eric. If you are wondering where Savannah and Polly fit into the picture, we are the taxi cab driver's. In addition to that, Alex and Emily both had a friend coming over to spend the night. (This is the time you ask if you can be in more than one place at a time...) before the end of the evening, soccer was canceled, Emily preferred to watch dad play then help the 6th grader's again, and friends had things to do and couldn't come until later. (The night is not over yet) With a quick dinner we are off to the Softball fields. Eric arriving just in time for his game to start. He wins the first game, that means game #2. (Sorry Savannah you can't go to bed yet) We finally arrive home at 9:30 at night with another win. Eric's team is in the base championship. Unfortunately, he will not be attending.

Wednesday, It is off to San Antonio to Fiesta Texas. We thought we would let the kids go and spend a day at the park with their friends. While kids were off playing Polly went to the Temple, Eric went shopping with Savannah (something she really enjoys), then it was lunch, shopping at the BX, driving around to give Savannah a very needed nap, getting caught in rush hour (living in San Angelo you forget about those things), picking up the kids, going to dinner, and making it home by 9:30. We were all exhausted.

Thursday, was spent by Polly spending three hours at Sam's trying to get cell phones. Luckily Savannah was the only one there. She was very patient. Soccer practice for Alex and flag football for Eric. (Is the week over yet?)

Friday, swiming one more time at the pool. Date night for Mom and Dad. (Thanks for babysitting Alex). Harry potter on Saturday...and finally Sunday, the day of needed rest. We love church at nine. Then we have time to enjoy the rest the day with the family relaxing.
