I love my calling and I love the youth in my ward. I am the Youth Family History Consultant. Which is calling made to help motivate the youth to do family history. One of the things we decided to do is go to the Roots Tech conference they have in Salt Lake City. They have classes and seminars all about family history. They tell you all the new things that are out there to help you better do you family history. After getting in late Friday night a group of us woke up early to see if you could make it through the standby for the Provo City Center open house. It was a great way to start the morning and really help us remember why we do our family history. Eric was able to join me for the roots tech part. He wasn't as excited to be there as I was but we seemed to have some fun. It was almost like we had a mini date. The girls were so happy because they were able to spend the day at the Shumways. They love to go there. They always have so much fun and they are there to entertain the girls in anyway possible. The hardest part for Eric was we came on Sunday. It wasn't just any Sunday, it was Superbowl Sunday and the Bronco's were playing. We made it home before everyone else and Eric was able to watch the his game in fast forward after we got home that night.
