Eric had the week off before Christmas and we decided to make the most of it. After our trip to Utah we decided to take the girls skiing on Christmas Eve. What a great day we had. The girls are doing so well learning to ski. They have no fear and I could spend the whole day watching them play in the snow. We had them take an hour of private lessons and after that Savannah was unstoppable. She was up and down the magic carpet. Now we just need to teach her how to get in and off the lifts. Brittlynn gets tired really fast, so after awhile during her lessons she was done. By the end of the day she was able to go down the hill a few times by herself. She fell down hard and was done. Then all she wanted to do was play in the snow. We almost couldn't get them to leave the snow. Unfortunately we had to get on the road because of the snow that was coming done so hard. It took us awhile to make it home, but we made it safe and that's all that matters. Eric and I were able to ski together for a few runs while the girls were at lessons. It was a great way to spend Christmas Eve and we hope to make it a family tradition. The day was sure exhausting for Britt she passed out as soon as we got into the car.
