Emily's Big Week.

It is Friday morning and what a crazy week for Emily.
We start off with soccer.,,,
Tuesday night she played in a championship game. She played hard and her team came out victorious with the final score of 2-1. We enjoyed watching her play. (The hard part was brother was also playing in a game that evening so we sat in the middle of the two fields hoping we wouldn't miss an important play of the game. )
Next YW...
Wednesday night was YW in Excellence. Its a night they honor the YW in the ward and their personal progress achievements. The theme was Ms. YW in Excellence. We bought Emily a new dress...her first dress...and Polly did her hair in an up do. (That made Emily's night she walked around all evening like she was a queen or Ms. YW.

Oh yeah how could we forget what happened Wednesday after school...Emily made the basketball team at Glenn MS. We are way excited for her. Guess the family isn't going to have any breaks from sporting activities.
Next Soccer...did I already say that...oh yeah, soccer is our life every spring and fall in Texas. If we are lucky Alex will make the HS team and it will be winter too. YEAH!!!

Thursday night...
Trophy night at the soccer fields. We had a hope that maybe there wouldn't be very many teams getting trophies...(it usually takes up your whole evening). We pull up to the fields and they are packed. Not a parking spot in sight. Drop off Dad, Emily, and Savannah and Polly is off to pick up Alex.
Lucky SASA (the soccer association) has learned a thing or two. They were done by the time we got back (20 minutes later)...

Party night...
Friday night was a game night at the house. It wasn't for Emily, but it added to the excitement for the week. We like to keep ourselves busy.
