Moving...

The Lescarbeau household has been spending the last couple of weeks packing up boxes and cleaning the house. Luckily Alex and Emily are gone to Florida visiting their mom so they miss out on all of the fun. So far everything is going well. We have had plenty of time to pack and clean so if everything goes as scheduled, we will be in our new house on Monday, July 6th. The plan is to have the house packed up and the beds torn down by Saturday night. We are staying at a friends house (thank you Stratton Family) Saturday and Sunday. Monday morning we, Eric and Polly, (Savannah is going to the babysitter) will pick up the moving truck and load up the boxes. We hope to have that done before Eric has to go sign for the house at 10:00. After we sign for the house we are going unload all of the boxes. Eric's co-workers have volunteered to help us load up the heavier things around 2:00. We plan on having a large enough truck to load and unload everything in one trip. In theory, we should be done by Monday before dinner. This will give us plenty of time to put some order into the new house so we can sleep there. Tuesday morning we will finish cleaning up the old house, like the kitchen (behind the appliances) and maybe vaccum the floor. We have been cleaning each room as we pack. (Its really easy to clean rooms when the kids are not here to use them) Hopefully that will be all that we have to clean.

This is the plan according to Polly's mind. We will keep you posted to see how well it is executed.
