Happy Easter & Much, Much, More...

With so much going on...where should I start?

Saturday Night Bowling:

One of the "perks" of having a spouse deployed is free bowling on base. We decided to make it dinner and bowling as a family (minus daddy). This was the first time that Savannah has ever bowled, but she loved every minute of the game. She just kept saying "again" and "my turn". We had fun and with a little luck Polly was still able to have the high score at the end of the game. (I got two strike and 9 pins in the 10th frame.) With a little help from the bumpers Savannah almost tied her sister.

Happy Birthday Savannah:

Yes, it is Savannah's birthday today. She is two years old. (Time goes by so fast) We are having her actual birthday party when her Daddy comes home in a month, but she was surprised by the gifts she received in the mail on Saturday. She loved everything that she got, and she expresses her excitement with such animation and joy. It was very exciting for her to get her pillow case with a picture of her and her daddy on it. She loved hearing her Daddy sing her Happy Birthday first thing in the morning. All she could say is "again". We did have brownies and ice cream for desert after dinner with the Stratton's. She even enjoyed blowing the candles out.

Easter Sunday:

Family Picture (missing one).

The day was eventful and started very early. We decided to go to church on base at 9:00 and Alex was determined to have the Easter Bunny come before we left, so alarms were set and the teenagers were up at 7:00. Eric had already called and talked to Savannah before anyone else was awake. So we were ready to go. Alex and Emily walked away with a bag full of candy and a new outfit. Savannah got a new bathing suit, and lots of candy.

We went to church and came home to find the Easter Bunny once again visited our house, but this time he left eggs all over the front yard. (A blessing to having older children...they can help out while you distract the younger ones.) After finding all of the Eggs we enjoyed the rest of our Easter Sunday listening to conference watching movies and taking naps. (Okay, Polly was the only one that listened to conference.)

Savannah quickly realized there was candy in the eggs and just wanted to eat it.

We topped the night off with a wonderful dinner at the Stratton's and brownies and ice cream for Savannah's birthday. It was a nice peaceful day spent with family and celebrating the living Christ, which is really what Easter is all about.

Baby Lescarbeau update:

After many comments of confusion and wondering where Polly is in all of family fun (she is taking all of the pictures.) We decided to give a little update on our Baby. For those of you who don't know IT'S a GIRL! We are now in the 29th week of the pregnancy or our last trimester. Last week we had an ultra sound and everything looks good and she is growing just fine. Her name is going to be Brittlynn Tia. Her middle name is part of her Daddy's name. In honor of the service he is giving to his country while she is growing inside. We are excited and can't wait for her arrival on or around June 21st.
