March of Dimes

Eric decided to get a group of cadets together to participate in the March of Dimes walk, so we decided to go as a family.  It was a beautiful morning and we all had fun walking together.  It was one of those days when you say to yourself, why don't we do this more often.  This was a time to give of ourselves for someone else and to spend time together as a family.  Brittlynn enjoyed the ride in the stroller and Savannah ended up on shoulders for some of the walk, but we had fun.  The weather was a little cool in the morning but it warmed up quickly.  It was a great day.

This Girl

I don't know what more to say than this girl. She is a crazy one. She always brings a smile to my face and with style like hers I can only imagine where life will take her. With her personality I know she will make things happen in her life and nothing will stand in her way. Her love of life is contagious. If only we could all be more like our Savannah. We are so happy to have all the crazy you in our family.

Happy Easter!

Good morning Colorado Springs....yes this picture is what we woke up to on Easter morning.  It was beautiful... love the snow.

With church at 9:00 in the morning that meant everyone had to wake up to see what was left for them on Easter. As a reminder of the gift of eternal life given to us by Jesus Christ, celebrated on Easter, for He is Risen.  The children also receive gifts.  (This year dad did too.)  We woke up Alex and Emily and the fun began.  Savannah was so excited to see what everyone got.  Alex and Emily couldn't figure out what all the excitement was all about, and would have loved to stay in bed.  Who can say no to Savannah?
Happy Easter!

A new swimming suit is a great gift

Brittlynn loves her new dress and shoes.

Alex is excited about his new hat

Emily is way excited about her new purse...perfect size for church.

Savannah showing off her new dress.

As a tradition we try to get a family picture of everyone all dressed up before church.  This year was a little hard than others...we almost didn't make it to church on time.  With new dresses we needed to get some new pictures of everyone.  (Thanks for thinking of us Grandmere)

With a little help from photo-shop...and almost perfect family picture.

Content not having anything on her head

Alex should dress up more often...he looks NICE!

Brittlynn just wanted to be with her mommy :(

Savannah loves getting her picture taken

Yes, they are sisters...luckily Savannah has a birth mark on her nose so baby pictures won't be confused.

Sisterly love.
The best part about Easter was reflecting on the Saviour's life that he freely gave so we too can live again.  What a wonderful thing to celebrate as a family.

Colorado Rockies Game Opener

Eric was able to have a wonderful experience going to the Rockies game.  He, along with a group of co-workers, were asked to hold the American flag on the field for the opening game of the season.  What a great experience he had.  Besides the joy of watching sports for Eric, the pride  that came from representing his country by holding the flag was spectacular.

The Rockies went on to win the game.  Eric was able to see wonderful sights of downtown Denver and wonderful sights inside the ball park.
