Hair Cut

Emily has the most amazing hair. She doesn't even try to do much and it looks amazing. She decided that she was going to donate her hair. I thought it was a great idea, but I made sure she got a really good hair cut. I enlisted my friend Angela Roy to cut her hair. He hair is really think and if you don't cut it right she will look like she has a fro. I loved it before, but I love it now. She looks amazing. Who would ever thought that she could pull off both looks so well.

Go Air Force!

So one of the best perks to working at a University is the entertainment for the family.  We are able to get tickets from the players that are in Eric's squadron so going to a game as a family is a great deal.  Watching sports happens to be Eric's favorite past time so if we can include the whole family the better.

Basketball

Basketball is a fun game,
it is not at all lame.
You get to shoot an orange ball,
the best players are very tall.

The game is played with a hoop,
an exciting play is the alley-oop.
Another play is the give-and-go,
that play really puts on a show.

You get assists if you pass,
but no stats count your class.
The jump ball signals the start,
Yes basketball is an art.

Its really hard to get good indoor pictures of the kids playing basketball.  This is the best that I had.   We had a lot of fun watching both Alex and Emily play during the season.  He had fun playing.

Happy Birthday Emily

Happy Birthday Emily...15years old.  What do you get a girl when she is 15?  All of the treats that she loves.  My favorite part about it all is catching all of her facial expressions.  She is growing so fast and changing so much each day.  We are so glad she is part of our family.  We can't wait to see what this new year brings.

Air Force Hockey

Its amazing how life takes you to different places and you find new things that you love, or you are reminded of things you loved in the past.  Hockey was it for our family.  Eric played hockey growing up and used to love watching it.  At some point he lost interest watching it on TV...then we moved to Colorado and hockey season began.  It became a new family past time.  We spend every chance we get watching the game, and it has become Savannah's favorite date night with Daddy.  Go AIR FORCE!

Teaching moment

Pollyanna got a calling teaching the gospel principle class.  Teaching has become one of her favorite things that she does so Eric decided he needed to take a picture.  Of course Brittlynn had to have her mommy and wouldn't settle for anything less during the lesson.

We have Snow!!

Having lived in Texas for so long we are so excited to see and be able to play in something so beautiful as Snow.  I am grateful for a neighbor who let Savannah play with them.  Brittlynn isn't really up for to much snow. Savannah had the best day ever.
