Eric's Birthday

Another year older and wiser too...Happy Birthday to You.  I am not really one to make a big deal out of things, but for the girls everything is a big deal.  Including their dads birthday.  They love going shopping for presents...candles....balloons...and then the surprise.  We spoiled him with candy grams...his favorite food (fish)...favorite cake (carrot)...and a weekend full of fun.

First a day at the ski resorts.  Eric and I finally made it up to Keystone to go skiing together.  It was a great day.  The weather was perfect and Eric couldn't ask for anything more on his birthday.  Perhaps maybe someone that could ski as well as he did...but we had fun.  

The next day...his dream came true.  He was able to go watch the Broncos play in the conference playoffs.  Since we moved to Colorado, he has enjoyed watching the Broncos, but then his favorite quarter back, Payton Manning, came to play for the team.  We went to a game at the beginning of the season.  He knew this might be his last chance to watch him play.  A friend of ours dad has season tickets and he ended up with one extra one to the game.  Eric decided he wouldn't miss this opportunity for anything.  The day was perfect, the game was amazing, and the memories was priceless.
