Thanksgiving in Utah

The Virgo Family...

and then some.

Life is all about changes and when you add additions to the family it means making special trips too see everyone.  We moving a little closer makes it all possible.  It took us awhile for us to make a final decision.  We talked to Quinn to see if he and Barbie were willing to host our family,  Lisa was willing to make the drive,  so it was all up to us.  With the holiday soon approaching a decision had to be made.  We decided to make the drive.  Easier said then done with winter weather approaching.  We loaded up the family, not sure what the road conditions would be.  Brittlynn did amazing in the car, sleeping the whole way except when it was time for her to eat.  Savannah is at the age she can be entertained with a movie.  Alex and Emily slept most of the way.  We did drive through some crazy weather in Wyoming, but for the most part we had little delays getting to Utah.

Quinn and Barbie did a great job hosting our family.  Not everyone was able to make it for the whole day, but they did manage to show up just long enough to get a family picture, open some early Christmas gifts, and cause a little chaos.  Eric especially enjoyed thanksgiving at my brothers house, football was on all day long.

It was so nice of uncle Quinn to think of everyone when he was in Hawaii.  From swim dresses, wraps, and t-shirts, everyone had something with a big smile on their faces.  Thank-you again Quinn and Barbie.

Somewhere along the way family pictures were mentioned.  You can only imagine what it takes to get a good picture with so many people, especially little kids, and limited space and time.  Between Pollyanna and Lisa everyone was quickly in order three pictures taken and the end result...as close to perfection as possible.

With a little help from photo shop, this is the final product.  Everyone is looking at the camera and most everyone is smiling.  (Just don't look too close to Emily she thinks it is the worst picture ever.)  For Family history sake we are going to name everyone in the picture.

It is great to record moments like this in history.  Who knows the next time the whole family will be together like that.  We are glad we were able to make the trip to see the whole family.
