Moving to a new state means finding new things to do for fun. A trip to the zoo is always at the top of the list. Eric had a day off, Alex and Emily had school, so we thought we would try it out. Brittlynn and Savannah were way excited to see the lions, tigers, and bears but we first had to get past the coolest giraffe area ever. You are able to feed the giraffes right out of your hand. The Zoo is set right on the mountain side and has some of the most amazing views of the city. (You definitely get your work out walking on the side of the mountain.) It was just the right size for Savannah. You could walk through it in a few hours if you need to or you can spend the whole day there. There is a castle at the top of the zoo that you can go visit with the price of your zoo admission. It was a lot of fun and we be visiting again in the future.
